We are the premier independent BMW repair shop in the San Jose, Campbell, Los Gatos, and Silicon Valley Area specializing in comprehensive maintenance, repair, and performance services for Bimmers.

BMW's have two different service programs. The early models ( e30 , e36 , e32 , e34 , e38 , e39 , e46 , 3 series , 5 series , 7 series , and X5) use the Inspection 1 and 2 service schedules. Every 15K = Oil Service, Every 30K = Inspection 1, Every 60K = Inspection 2. The later models ( e90 , e92 , e60 , e65 , e70 , X3 ) and the most recent BMW F series now go by a Conditional Based Service System (CBS), where the vehicle monitors load, mileage, and time parameters to calculate and remind the driver when service is needed. Most of the oil changes occur at 10 - 15 thousand mile intervals. Eventhough, this minimum oil change requirement is enough to get the car through the warranty period without problems. Our experience has shown that the oil changes need to be more frequent to prevent excessive sludge and internal engine wear. We recommend changing the engine oil and Filter every 5000 - 7500 miles.
